ADAS Calibration
When a windshield, bumper, or mirror repair triggers a required sensor calibration.
Advanced driver assistance systems rely on cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors that are aimed with millimeter precision. Removing a windshield, replacing a bumper cover, or even adjusting ride height can move a sensor out of spec.
Calibration is either static, with targets placed at specific distances in a controlled bay, or dynamic, performed during a road drive that meets manufacturer conditions. Some vehicles require both.
A calibration that is not performed — or not documented — can leave forward collision warning, lane keeping, and automatic emergency braking inaccurate or disabled.
